I use my vxr8 as a daily drive. The bloke I purchased it from only put about 2000 miles on it in a year. I soon destroyed that low mileage smile
It was nice that he didn't use it much, so that you can use it lots tongue out

Don't fib. You just don't like getting it dirty. You could at least bring it down the 42 one night.

When I was asked to turn on the fog lights during my last MOT test I couldn't remember how! Was quite embarrassing.

My mrs drives mine everyday. I hardly drive it at all.... So which side am I on! wink
Fantastic car but always seem to need an excuse to take it out. If its on the driveway. So usually I just take the truck.
Shame really.
My last monaro accrued 30k miles in around 30 weeks...
yup the maths is correct. It did.kiddy to cardiff daily
4 hours a day driving a v8... boy was that a good commute! smile

My R8 was my daily for a few years, but not anymore. It lives in the garage now and comes out most weekends when the weather's fine, and i enjoy it and appreciate it sooo much more now - even just opening the garage door to have a look at it, or just get in and fire it up is brilliant now. smile

the monaro has been my daily drive but not at the mo , the van i take to work too , for me rust wise it's weather dependant and parking dependant as i don't like leaving them on the street , plus i take them out for a good run whenever i can , not good having a car sitting around and not used

To Roger's for its annual service is about as far as mine goes. Finding time is tricky.

I used to drive her a lot during the week but stopped as the commute to work just wasn't made for that car and the way folk drive up here can be frustrating at the best of times, the more work and money I invested in the car have seen me buy a daily beater to use (Vauxhall Corsa D, GET IN!!). She only gets out at the weekend if the weather is nice and over winter I'll be storing her.

Daily drive here as well!

Why bother having a car if you are only keeping it in a garage!!!! waste of money IMO.

Also a daily drive here.... it's our only vehicle and does around 9k per year. The wife is still concerned that I care more for the car than her.... no dear, it's a Monaro, not a car....

Just joined but have been watching this post with interest. Im looking for vxr8 and my wife will using it to comute the 10mls each way to work. Shes just as much a petrol head as me and just qualified as a nurse so we thought what the hell why not get something a little crazy. Also living 10 mins from the evo triangle it would be nice to have something decent to drive around now the bike has gone.
