Monaro now with Dave the Trimmer for the repair to the seat and side bolster. I also got hold of a new foam seat base which Dave is going to use...even with such a low mile car, I thought I would get this replaced at the same time...'like new' firm drivers seat awaits!

Incidentally, Dave told me he had an orange Monaro in for some headlining work recently...it had an after-market sun roof fitted...anyone know this motor?

After Dave, it's off to Monkfish for some bits and bobs....
An after market sunroof in a Monaro! please God no....that will be the kiss of death come resale. I remember that craze in the 1970's and 1980's it did not end well. Just my 2p worth of course.

For those that are interested this is Dave the Trimmers website:

www.davethetrimmer.com

For the avoidance of doubt, I have no commercial association with Dave. His workmanship is fab and he's a top bloke to boot!

Andy Sargeant (sarge 4x4) doesn't get on here so much, but he's a tyre dealer at Redhill. Great guy, and always does a good deal for people on here.

I was surprised that I needed 3 wheels straightened, like you, no symptoms being felt when driving, the only reason I had the wheels checked was because the guys at Monkfish had noticed one of the wheels was out of shape.

Its been a while so here's an update. The car has just come back from Paintshield:

www.paintshield.co.uk

Front of car, bonnet and wing mirrors all covered. Brilliant workmanship, thank you Ann.

Booked into M/F for a service and some more fettling on 21st April and have been collecting some bits and bobs, snaps to follow...
