Class

I wonder if I need to get a boxed LS into a mk2 cavalier.....that would be a weapon / death on a stick.

Someone was trying to shoe horn an LS1 into a calibra a while back but not sure if that ever got finished. Must dig out the thread from the other forum and see.

I'd love to find out how fast an early (as it was styled) ls1/2 calibra would go at TR. Just a cam and heads and I reckon near 180. They had a 0.25 Cd and hence a very small CdA.

I think they are still up there drag coeff wise with the more modern stuff. Probably top 3 from the family market cars. I will see if I can find the thread and ask the OP.

I know of a mk4 astra with a ls1 lump fitted and it was converted to rear wheel drive.

There was a Calibre for sale a while back that somebody had fitted a V8 into. To be honest I can't remeber if it was a Rover/TVR V8 or a GM V8 ?

Looked the nuts though, took the guy ages to do it all but it was mint inside/outside/underneath....

People didn't like it as it had not done any mileage since completion but was up for sale as a finished article rolleyes
