I've been flicking through the FAQ and seen the facia options. However the link to the relatively cheap one doesn't work. I've seen on eBay you can get one for around £25. Has anyone got any experience or knows whether these cheap ones are any good? Or has anyone got a spare lying around?

IIRC the Scosche is better than the Metra, but neither are perfect. I sanded and painted the Metra and think I got a good match with Halfords satin acrylic.

Worth checking if the_ferret82 has any metal brackets left, they're much better than the plastic ones.

There is a kit which puts all their Monaro extras together with the wiring. Did I see it on here? maybe it was on ebay by an enterprising seller.
It had the tools to get the item out of the dash too.

You shouldn't need any wiring, unless you're combining the aerial feeds or adding steering wheel controls.

i actually have a Facia adapter and metal brackets laying around after i took them out of my monaro, along with an aerial Y cable so you can use both aerials in the car.

Oh really, does the plate match the rest of the dash nicely?
