Didn't the 05 cv8 get updated though including nostrils and 2 exhausts. It's got a cv8 badge on the back and there's no vxr stuff anywhere.

A bit of mis-information here chaps!

Ste: As you know, yours is the same as mine; a facelift CV8 with two tailpipes, nostril bonnet, small boot and four O2 sensors. It's not a VXR/HSV.

It'll most likely be the post-cat sensors that are causing you trouble, seeing as you don't have any cats. I believe you can disable them via a remap.

Let me know if you want to compare clonks, you know where I live!

Hi mate.

Yes that would be good to hear another monaro noises, that advisory list and reading different things has got my head all over the place lol.

I've still got your number so I'll send you a text later if that's ok?

Lol.

I was certain I had a facelift CV8 but being new and hearing something different but doubt in my mind.

Anyway, appreciate all the help. Im pretty sure my transmission noises are the monaro norm...... Hopefully
