Driver shaft replacement advice

I'm just replacing the drive shafts on my GTS VT2.
all the bolts done and the manual says remove the allen bolts and remove assembly from the car.

all the bolts are out, but the trouble is a I can't get enough clearance to pull get either end of the shaft free from the coupling.

do I just need to lever it out, or do I have to start taking the suspension apart

If you undo the lower shock mount the hub should drop and give some wiggle room
