Rhoads Lifters, can you get them for LS engines, basically allow you to run higher duration cam as they bleed down at low rpm effectively shortening the duration for better idle emissions and low end torque.

Cant say I've seen any reference to them being used?

That's such a nice idea, very cool!

Can't say I've ever heard of them around LS engines, as I've never heard of them before and have read a fair amount on LS stuff

Must be some caveats. Quickly reading I get the impression the transition has some lag and adversely affects the midrange during a rapid rev pickup. They are noisier than stock. Their behaviour changes markedly with different oil weights and temps.

Surely the pushrod length will also be effectively wrong for half the rev range?

I'm probably being far too much of a pessimist!
