Very nice. Increases the value of the car far more than a bolt-on in my eyes.

The engine's a custom assembled LSA with 24x crank?

How far is the manifold pressure going to be pushed, with that superior cooler?

Looks like a clean install.

I can see the Lingenfelter 24-58x crank signal converter box helping out there too..

Was this inspired by that yellow one that was done in Oz?

Was just just something that after talking to Roger about options just fancied doing something different from the standard root. Nice man how have you been finding the car since the swap?

Love it...Totally different in the way it drives..torque is immense...has cost me a diff but was on its way out before the swap

Nice man I have just been feeling my way in to it. Definitely agree on the torque it's just a surge that keeps on going.

Haha yeah I learnt that one on the way back from monkfish to Cornwall but so very worth it 😃

I have an LSA powered car so if you have any questions, feel free to ask. On the stock pistons, & heads, ported blower (supporting mods with cam etc.) it made 764bhp at SRR. After destroying that setup due to inadequate fueling, I went back and made 774bhp/896ft lbs. Same engine now but with turbos and I am near the 1300bhp range.

I noticed the OP also has a T56 so I have a suggestion for those lingering around high power figures. If you have a high power application, you should install bungs and sprayers. This is a service offered by builders such as RPM, Tick performance etc. Basically, you run an external pump and spray fluid directly onto the input shaft gear/bearing for lubrication. Many of the failures result from lack of lubrication from fluid slush during hard acceleration.

My TR6060 is stout and succumbed to the same effect. After a an encounter with a ZX14-r on the autobahn and multiple 180mph+ pulls, the trans started whining during every gear except 4th. After sending it in to be built, it was brought to my attention that this is a common issue with high HP applications.

The internals looked pristine apart from the input shaft after 6+ years of abuse. A simple modification with an external pump can fix this. I will be adding a small oil cooler for good measure. You will have to find a shop to weld the bung onto the transmission but other than that, this setup would cost you less than 300 pounds.

Great to see another High Power build keeping the Monaro alive. Shame the SRR meet next month might be a bit far for you as after recently getting mine back from the fish too, would have been nice to see how the two new Monaro builds compared on the graph traces in terms of where the power and torque is made.

Out of interest, did MF dyno this as part of the build process?

Nice work! Mine also has an LSA under the bonnet but with a 2300 blower instead of the 1900. Guess yours is a lightly modified crate engine, which looks like a cost effective route to power. Soon as you start adding labour it becomes really expensive.

The aston martin box used the drain plug as an outlet to the cooler and the pump pushed the oil back into the filler. I don't know if they still do this but it's what was going on shortly after ls engines came about. There may have been a nozzle inside the filler to direct the cooled oil.

Or you can get an LS9 blower. Not sure how this compares in price to the heartbeat

Me? It was done back in 2011 by Monkfish after I blew it up. LSA block, crank, ported LSA heads and forged rods/pistons. Bought as a series of parts, not a complete engine. Also an LS9 clutch.

Getting it to fit was a challenge but Roger did a great job. Yours does look very neat.
