Emm strange noise on full left lock VXR8

One for the experts out there , advice please if possible . 2009 Bathurst S on 16k miles. strange noise when reversing/turning on full left hand lock only from front right suspension area, sounds like a click click driving over a piece of wood. Only on full lock. car drives fine. Comes and goes.

There is a known issue with worn lower suspension arms. Easy fix. Sounds like thats worth checking.

Been to walkinshaw..........it was a worn top mount. Sorted and car had a good check over as well.

it is quieter on here , good to hear you sorted it hopfully not too much , was it the black bush at the top of the suspension worn ?

Big black rubber mount that goes on top of the shock. I thought the car drove fine. Drive home was super - smooth. walky sorted the tracking as well as that was out. Flipping bargain as another garage would probably not have had the knowledge and changed lots (main dealer) I had budgeted for a pair of super pro lower arms as a minimum. happy bunny. found out the car had other mods I never knew about that walkinshaw did as well so a good day.

good to hear it's all sorted , did you have to do lower arms too or just expecting that as the issue ?

The rest was all good.................phew!. Drives super can't believe the difference as I thought it was ok before apart from the occasional noise. yes I would have bet it was an arm. Thank heavens for walkinshaw.
