Good luck I have been searching for ages. Only ever seen a set of 4. Set on Ebay for £1500 I think. If it is to replace a crunched one that's fine but I am not 100% sure a 20 inch fits into the spare wheel space.

I think it does fit. I've had to put the 19" spare on my E3 due to a puncture, and so I put the punctured front 20" in the spare wheel space until I could get to a garage. It went in fine. I'm pretty sure the spare wheel space is the same size on the E1 and E3, as it's the same body after all.

If it were a wider rear wheel then it might be tight height wise as the wheel lays flat, but a 20" front should fit OK.

Well that set has 4 wheels. 2 with good tyres and 2 shot. Split it between the three of us?. Who ever has the decent tyres pays more for their wheels? PM me if you you fancy it. I only want 1. other chap 1 and you two.

That's a good plan

Not sure it will work as Goldy wants a F and R 20in
and you and Moif want a spare each - assuming you both want a Front each, and a F will fit both F and R axles. Not sure about fitting a wider Rear spare on the Front axle eek

Ilegal to mix tyre sizes

All VXR8s come with full size front spare (245) and can be used an emergency spare on the front or rear (275) - as per advice in handbook. Suggests limited speed if axles are mis matched
Most cars if fitted with spare wheels have a narrower spare steel or alloy to the std fitted factory wheels

Perfectly legal for different size F/R, just not across a single axle ( spare wheel being an exception )

some bmw wheels work i think it's the x5 ones if you are looking for just a spare , ARAF is the knowledge on that , you do need a hub spacer ring as holden hubs are smaller than the bmw ones

i have 20" which came with the car i only keep them on as they came with the car but 19" do handle a lot better , the ve2 alloys are so heavy that's probably the reason why handling is not as good with the 20" on
