Having replaced the standard sofa's with something less bouncy, the original items are taking up too much space in the garage.
Therefore free to anyone who would care to collect from Brighton. PM me if interested. Else will take a punt at classfieds or the skip smile
They are for all intents and purposes new and in fine working order. Just missing the seat belt tensioners/clips as needed to salvage for the new seats.

Hopefully this post is still legal. Haven't been round these parts for a while.

A very generous offer.

I'd be very keen to pick them up if I'm not too late, although I see Rob got In first.

Picked these up last night. Can't wait to swap out my 120,000 milers with these - they're like new!

Nice to meet another PH and chat cars for a bit.

Much appreciated Piers, thanks very much. thumbup

This thread needs more seat pics, ideally of the new ones in MadMax's car smile

As indicated seats now gone. Sorry to those who got in contact but didn't get a reply, was a bit of an inbox lottery as to who I spotted and responded to.

Couple of pics of the new ones. Not a great interior shot but you get the idea...

Did you get manual bases and frames to mount them on?

I've got manual sliders on mine, you sit considerably lower in the car, it's brilliant for driving, but makes parking slightly harder than it used to be smile

Manual bases. They are a touch low but fine when driving as you say. Much better when wearing a helmet in the car though...

I bet...I had to crane my neck in a helmet before I changed mine, felt less safe than no helmet...

The Recaro's look well, I could do with a set to stop me from sliding around on trackdays.
What kind of money were they?

They were around £600 a piece plus fittings, mounts, sliders etc...

Some pics of my seats smile

The footwell lights were awful, I just wanted pure white but they were that nasty 'cool' white that ended up looking purple in this pic!

I got them from GSM Motorsport, Garreth there is really helpful, they have a showroom where you can try loads of seats out, and he'll price match anything thumbup

Mud and I got the 'Planted' bases directly from Cipher Auto (seemed the cheapest way postage wise...)

http://www.cipherauto.com/

They make their own brand and also seem to make the Planted ones, which looked more substantial, hence us going to them.

The postage made them annoyingly expensive, we both agreed to never discuss the price ever again as part of the man maths process hehe

Combining postage didn't really work out as they ended up too heavy to go in one cheap parcel.
