Afternoon guys.

I'm after some info if possible. I'm finding it hard to find rear discs for the ap's that are fitted to my monaro.

I've read loads of previous posts but can't find much info.

Mf are out of stock, I'm in contact with a dba supplier who's suggesting I need 350mm x 26mm but are these too big?

Who would have thought getting discs would be so difficult!

Looking in the DBA catalogue that looks like a VE disc (350x26) they have mentioned. VXR8 over there.
There are a couple in there for HSV (Monaro) AP brakes. Depends if you have 4 or 6 pots.
Did the car originally come with them as I know a lot of people got hold of them aftermarket?
ie does it have AP on the front and back?
One number is DBA42019 (332x24) and the other is DBA42025 (343x26). You may have to go and measure them.
Other one I have seen on HSV cars is DBA4049 (315x18) which is not an AP caliper.

I replaced mine recently. I couldn't get rear AP's anywhere. In the end I got some DBA's from Monkfish. They couldn't even get AP's at the time! Good luck!

It's aftermarket kit, both calipers say ap on them and my best estimate on size is around 343mm.

Thanks for the part number, just what I needed.

As above. When I was checking it should be the 343mm ones - DBA 42025

Thanks guys for the help.

Had it confirmed by UK dba distributor that that's the correct part number.

Happy days!

I could probably get the discs myself but I think it would be better /easier to use the UK dba distributor. Nice to have someone in the UK to talk too if there's a problem.

Think it'll roughly work out £100 dearer to do it the way I am.

Are you interested?

Clark Motorsport 01330 860999.

The chap I've been emailing is very helpful, if there's a few of us wanting discs maybe we could get them at the same time and possibly get a bit if discount? I don't mind doing the communication.
