Does look a stunning car and certainly looks to be a decent drop. Looks like I'll have to do some research again now

I've got a set still of Pedders low or super low cluttering up the garage, I don't know which! Springs only. I found too many scrapey speed bumps so went to VXR with the Pedders shocks. Worked for me.

How much do you want for them? Can you pm me please. If they're cheap enough I could at least try them on to see if I like the height and then go from there with shocks or coilovers.

I've got pedders super low springs at the front and pedders low springs at the rear. Pedders shocks, haven't gone to coilovers as since replacing the seats the ride is firm enough already.

I wanted a slight 'rake' hence going for super low at the front. It's a significant drop that really sorts out the car's appearance, I've not had any problems with speed bumps etc. but I am wary of them. I have AAS mid-length headers, so they don't stick out the bottom.

I have managed to scrape the chin on a pavement when parking though, I didn't realise there was a pavement and swung the nose in. That was painful reversing off cry

I've been thinking that low at the back and super low at the front would be the perfect drop but haven't seen anyone done it before. Have you got pics or your car?

It is about right I think, personally I like an even amount of arch gap around the wheel, I don't like it when it's so low the top of the wheel is tucked up but then the arch sort of spreads out and there's a big gap around the front and back of the tyre if that makes sense. Anyway, I have some rough pics of it, it's funny now that I'm used to it it doesn't look that low, but then I see an old picture and it looks like it's on stilts! hehe

You get some 'pads' that you can use to further space things out, I believe we installed 2 at the rear on both sides, so the rear is slightly higher than just 'low' would be...Just preferred it that way. I've also taken a little bit of weight out of the car, so yours may sit slightly lower (taken about 30kg off the front for example)

The front doesn't look too low there so I think super low is the way for me. Thanks for the pics.

Can anybody confirm that springs for a cv8 will fit a vxr? I know the shocks will be different but found some pedders super low but are from a cv8.

Thought the vxr ro and cv8 ro was the same fitment for springs and dampers

I run longtube ProFlow headers on car with my Pedders Extreme Coilovers as pictured above. The longtube headers site broud of the car by around 3 inches so you catch on everything if you are as low as I am. So you have to drive carefully when near speed bumps.

I found some pictures from when I actually changed the springs:

Before:

After (superlow front, low rear):

I think the after is with the 'low' springs on the rear and no plates on, I stuck the plates in so the back sits slightly higher now than in this pic, but I thought this provided a better example of what you were after thumbup

Thank you for those pics, exactly the pics I was after. Looks stunning. Super low doesn't look too low at all.

However I've been thinking of putting my car up for sale so no need to lower it but I'll see if I change my mind.
