What's the most outrageous CV8/HSV/VXR out there?

Power, upgrades, paint etc?

550-650bhp seems "reasonably" common so I'd be interested to know especially how much power has been rung from an ls1/ls2 motor in a street car.

Supercharged, lowered compression ratio running 12 psi with revised cam & GTS-R heads, forged pistons & con rods, coil over suspension with revised camber settings & lowered, AP racing brakes, 1000 watt I.C.E. system with 3 DVD players, 3 x 7” touch screen monitors plus many other modifications...

2000 GTS / LS1 with 556 BHP @ 8 psi

Gregs GTS-R (Pomona's old car) must feature on this list.
At just over 500bhp my car's a bit girly:-)

My wife's Monaro is 499 bhp normally aspirated. A supercharger is out of the question as it's an auto and the box would be seriously struggling with more power. I think she would be a bit apprehensive too with snowfalls predicted this winter. Still 'kickdowns' would be fun ....

Not a Holden I admit, but I'd estimate around 650 rwhp for my LS1 based on 1/4 mile trap speeds and my cars weight. Apart from a crappy camshaft, its a nice driving car and I average about 23mpg. Cam will be swapped for a better one over the winter, along with bigger engine. Would like to be pushing closer to 800rwhp for next year, although it wont be easy.
I'd like to be pulling 140+ traps next year which is my main aim.. ET's are always tracion limited, and being a road car, I'll just have to suffer in that area, although better tyres will help immensely.
