Wortech Auto Tune
Discussion
Just a quick post to thank Paul and the Wortec Boys after 'the tune up'on my Ute.
I've now managed to drive the thing on some dry roads and after putting some ballast in the bed (Four spare Chevy wheels!)I can report it is brilliant!. Drives really nice and smooth in normal mode, then put it into 'sport' mode and WOW! what a difference! really responsive, changes gear real quick, revs out nice, you can now steer it on the throttle, can't normally do that so easily in an auto.It even sounds better!
Yes, I'm well pleased! now all I need are some rear tyres that grip damp roads!

Hi Andrew, yes mine is an LS1 (2002 VU II) I had the tune performed by Paul at Wortec.
In normal mode there is basically no noticeable difference in the operation of the vehicle. However, the tune has been done in 'sport' mode. (This was to my request), it gives you the choice as to when/how you want to drive it a bit more, err, sporty!
If you contact Paul at Wortec or Roger at Monkfish (both to be found in the 'links' section), I'm sure they will be only too pleased to help.
I see you are in Essex, will you be at the Ace meeting in January?
Jagsy, yep, it has been sideways a bit!! I'm thinking of chucking a 45gall drum of Transformer oil in the back to keep it down!!
