Is anyone able to confirm/advise the cost of a) a new key for a Monaro, and if one has a new key b) the cost of having it set up? (as I assume it will need to be set up to work with the specific car)

Any info would be gratefully received.

Thanks

Mark

I can give it in Oz dollars but that doesn't really help you! The key fob part is about $70 to $80 and I think costs $15 to program something like that.
A Monaro key shouldn't really have run out by now. Normally takes 3 or 4 years to wear one out unless of course you load up too many keyrings to it like I have done and broken the plastic casing!

Thanks Motomk Oz dollars is a start!!! And unfortunately it isn't a case of it being worn out or broken.......its a case of not getting a spare with the car - something which I am working on but I have a feeling it will end in getting a replacement

Do you have the SIX digit BCM code ? If so, a new key programmed will be circa £70. If u dont have the code u will need to get a dealer to order for you.

PM me if u need any help.

Thanks for the offer of assistance - I am hoping to know more by the end of this week and will be in touch if needs be. Apologies for not getting back earlier but have had a hectic few days.

Thanks again
