HI Boss,

I would be interested in buying your old rims, what condition are they in and what price are you looking for? Photos would be good.

Bought the car new Oct 15...2500 miles

Sadly, front left rim has a tiny raz (about 1-2" long) but as far as I'm aware, they are just covered on brake dust and road salt at the mo.

As for price, I haven't a clue (yet)...would you want the tyres as well?

If they are the 18" wheels as per CV8 Monaro, I might be interested.

Any pics ?

Stevie,

The wheels that Bo55 VXR has for sale are the 19" VXR wheels. However if I purchase them my wheels (CV8) will be for sale with almost brand new Toyo Proxes T1-R's. 235/40/18 on the front and 255/35/18 on the back. The tyres have less than 500 miles on them. If you're interested drop me an email at the address I gave above.

Regards,
Brian.

Doug,

Just a couple of follow-up questions

1. Is the quoted price the full price excluding any p/x allowance?

2. I know you would need to see the wheels before quoting accuratly, but what would a ball park p/x value be

3. What is the price without tyres - I'll use my current tyres as they only have 2.5K on them

Ta

Answers to questions:

1. Correct, excludes any p/x allowance.

2. Subject to seeing, with tyres about £100-125 each. without tyres little value.
Or can try to sell them for more, on your behalf!

3. Montage £1750 inc vat (includes fitting/balancing donor tyres x 4)
DTR-1 £1550 inc vat (includes fitting/balancing donor tyres x 4)

Regards
DOUG

PCD is 5x120 offset=42mm,you should get a 9" on the rear,maybe even 9.5.
Alot of BMW's have the same pcd and close offset,so your not limited to a Holden/HSV dealer.

Sorry but I do not believe this to be quite correct, I await clarification from someone on this but the beemer wheels need a little maching to fit correctly, if I am wrong I appoologise now but that is what I have been led to believe

LSV can supply on Montage 19" Wheel with the option of 9.5" wide rim for rear, shod with 265/30 x 19 Michelin Pilot Sports.....extra cost to original wheel package £175 (most of that is the additional cost of rubber). This is on top of £2750 fully fitted price.

Monkfish1 emailed me this yesterday:-

Diameter, your choice!
Width (j) 8 inch, probably get away with 8.5 if you use at least 245 tyre.
PCD, 5 x 120mm
Offset (ET), 48 mm, should be able to use 45mm Centre bore, 67.something mm. Can confirm the something soon!
