Mike, Roy that was with me is currently working on a compilation of nearly every car leaving the Ace. Will post up as soon as it is done. If anyone wants it on DVD let me know.

I was driving the Odyssey on the way out in front of BOSS, spun it round and went the other direction and launched off again. Dunno what time it was, after two I think though!

Not completely, I was hoping to have have faced the way I was supposed to heading out, but ended up in the opposite direction. Made for some good fun though!

Was a good exit to watch tho i doubt the driver of the Merc has the same view, giving birth to kittens & sphincter tightening spring to mind. It got a bit interesting about 6pm with a guy on a Fireblade popping wheelies till he was scraping the rear of the bike along the road & donuts whilst sitting on the fairing

Hey if there's a link you could put up here to any filming of the cars leaving I should be able to link it to the Girlracer.co.uk site and the article I'm writing for them!

May I suggest you take steps to blank number plates if they are going on a public forum, lest you inadvertently post a direct route to the loss of your own license. You never know who's watching - my old motorcycle forum almost fell foul of the law by posting our exploits up.

Just a thought

When photos go up on Girlracer.co.uk website with articles I write (under events) feel rest assured that all car numberplates are blanked out.

OK, I have in my possession an 8 min video sequence of The Ace Day, to include rougly 3 mins of video shots around the varience of cars on the day, around 4 mins of footage of various "departures" and about 1 min of myself and Boss in tandem on the M4/M25. The quality of the video isnt up to much but still makes good viewing. Some, not all, vehicles have reg number seen. If there is a general consensus to post a link, then I will sort that out immediately.

On the other hand, even though after editing the tape, there is only 8mins off footage. Roy, who took all of the video shots, is happy to put this onto DVD, in stereo sound, together with titles and a menu. If anyone is interested in receiving one of these, please let me know. DVDs will be sent out in plain sleeves, but Roy is happy to make something of a better package if there is enough enthusiasm. (ie a plastic case with a pic of some description).

Is it too much to suggest a price of £2.50 to cover the discs, and postage and of course the time Roy ( a non HSV owner) has put into sorting this out??

I'm throwing this wide open to the forum as to get ppl's views. If ppl do want the DVD then please email me here (addy on profile) and I will generate a list and get these out as soon as I can.
