Not sure?

For anyone coming on Saturday please bring cash as the lunch pub has no plastic facilities. And this pub is where Mrs Dan_the_man's brother works and the food is superb.

Sorry for being a numpty

But... this Hexham Horseless Carriage place, I had assumed it was a pub... but I just googled it, and it seems to be a TVR dealer??

Surely the bloke who runs it might have something to say about loads of random cars just turning up outside his place?

I have spoken to Tony at HHC and he has very kindly agreed that we all meet at his location. Tony has been out with our N.E.s in th past and is a very nice sociable guy.

oh boy am I in soapy bubble with the missus - I told her this was next weekend and we've just spent hours planning the whole trip having decided to make a weekend of it and now I realise I got the weeks mixed up and I should have been there today. Sorry I aint gonna make it for tomorrow - its a 600+ mile round trip down to York and its just too much for a 1/2 day trip. Hope the guys that did make it have a good time. I'm away to get slapped some more for being stupid.

Sad to report a low turn out.

For those that did make it thank you very much for an excellent weekend - I hope you enjoyed the free beer and lap dancing girls.

Well done Richard for organising a great weekend out.
Elaine and I enjoyed it but i have to take her back to Newcastle for some retail therapy.
Still thats a small price to pay!

I am sure the natives down under will enjoy your jaunts in the future once you have settled in.

Best Regards

Paul

Thanks for a great time Richard and for all the info from the rest of the crew at the meet. I had an uneventful journey North and arrived home on Sunday night at 2000 after covering 880 miles @22 mpg. Ouch on the pocket but it was worth it! All the best in your new life,

Jeff.

Another "Thanks!" to everyone, especially Richard for the organisation. It was great to see some other Monaros/HSV in action at last. Apologies for being anti-social and not making the last stop - had to go and nurture a 6 week old future petrolhead.
