if you can locate it on AT?

My searches reveal nothing, £17k for a VXR, blimey they are depreciating faster than the 4 dr hsv's now!

seems a bit too cheap doesnt it - even for an ordinary run of the mill 04 plate Monaro you'd still be looking for around 20k

So who's gonna ring it then? And in the holden section there was a 99 50thousand mile HSV GTS for 10 grand, now that's a bargain!

It has re-appeared on Autotrader with the right number. I called them and needless to say at £17k, it's gone.

I wonder if it was KE54 FAA? Apparently rotten as a pear underneath and sold last year for £23k private and a few months earlier for £27k from a dealer.

Wouldnt that be covered by Vauxhall's corrosion warranty if it was that bad?

Not sure. The Vx warranty used to be based on corrosions/perforations from the inside of a panel outwards. Don't think salt corrosion would be covered.
