Does anyone know if there is a replacement radio for the Monaro or if there is a facia plate available to fit the hole if I take the radio out??

I'd forgotten how much I relied on RDS in my old car and I might put a fold out DVD SATNAV screen in there.

Thanks Devil,

I was thinking that a custom made facia was where I was going.... but I was hoping that a company in the US or Oz had made one already.

I'm a bit tight when it comes to paying someone elses R&D costs!

This is the kind of thing I'm after - although the website doesn't allow direct purchase and there's been no reply to my e-mails....

Anyone know of a dealer who sells these??

I need one, count me in too. Problem is that the Monaro radio is not double din, it's double din plus a bit more at the bottom, so normal double din facia adaptors don't fit. I have a single din radio/cd and beneath that I want to fit the control/display for my mp3 HD player system. At the moment it's fitted using meccano!

I have for sale my original Blaupunkt 6 disc in dash unit. Sounds good, but no RDS.... (I still can't believe that!) Are they worth anything?

Hi Peeps,

I got the single din conversion part when I bought the car (part of the deal). They get them from a local radio/alarm place. I think its the place which also did my alarm so should have their details at home.

I will try and dig the address/telephone out later.

Cheers
Steven

The company is

Good Motoring Ltd.
(01492) 525888.

They fit after market alarms and stuff for Slaters (Monaro & VXR dealership) so they do know the Monaro quite well. They are ones who fitted my stereo.

This company in Texas seem to offer good prices on the install kit. About 10 quid?
Maybe they might do a group buy for you.

And more install bits.
