I'm not sure, thats a good time by the Astra, I'd think the Monaro would be pretty close but without AP's your asking for trouble!

Correction in light of upcoming GCSE's. 'your' should be 'you're'

That is a very good lap time 8.35mins for a full lap!! normal timing for lap is done from bridge just after you start to the gantry after the last bend. The car looks remarkably composed with next to no body roll!! can never tell if these are fettled slightly all the same though its a professional driver on a closed to public circuit on one off those extrodinary things at the ring .....lovely weather!!.

In conclusion a very quick time I don't expect do be any where near that in July when take my GTS-R for a play as
1. its my baby, and I am paying for it
2. track open to public eg danger round every turn, has someone come off and split dirt/oil
3. I don't have spare cars to change around should I nerf it

If you look at an earlier thread I included a lap on my Suzuki GSXR750 and that was 8.19min and that was good pace. To bikers sub 9min is a good pace/lap

Still good lap in lovely car
From experience went round in VXR monaro last year driven by a Aussie v8 supercar driver who was there testing for some mag (not sure of name) couldn't tell you lap time as spent most of it going sideways...very cool and very entertaining, by end of lap brakes were shot and down to metal!! they had been going for it all weekend.

Hahahaha! Very funny. If we're (we and are...see what I did there!!) going to be picky then surely the title of this thread should have (yes should have not should of!) been AROUND the Nurburgring not round it. There (there because it is not belonging to the subject) surely is no logical reason why people would even bother arguing about this anyway! L.o.l. (abbreviation hence the dots))!!! As well (not aswell) as this there (and again...) are a lot (not alot!) of people who are annoying enough (my English teacher being (not been!) one of them) who try to pick holes in everything you write. So if you're (you and are) still unsure (i before e except after c!) whether or not my writing is below the high standards expected I would (not I'd) quite happily punch you in the face!!! L.M.A.O.

Is that better?

I assume that should have been " then I would......" not " the I would...."
