Spotted on M40

[PCV8]

Spotted a nice Impulse Blue Monaro travelling south on the M40 today at 15:00.
I was passing Prodrive northbound at the time in my Odyssey Monaro.
If it is anybody on the forum i waved anyway but we were both in the ouside lane travelling in opposite directions so we flashed past each other.

Strange thing is when passing Prodrive i am usually looking there to spot anything interesting!

Maybe i am getting a sort of Holden sixth sense or something to check the opposite carriageway at that exact moment.

It was not far from the exit for Monkfish, maybe the owner was heading there!

Are you the same guy we saw going past junction 11 a few months back? We were in a white rover estate waving like nutters and giving the thumbs up, car sounded nice!

Could have been me, been up and down the M40 alot over the last 2 or 3 weeks. Doing lots of training at Gaydon. Did see a VXR in red on the M40, grumpy looking dude in it who didnt bother to wave back.
Perhaps he didnt like being out-dragged by a CV8! HeHeHeHe. Hope it wasnt anyone here? I'd better watch out, hes probably been to Picador by now !

Dan S V8, That was definately me! I remember you, thought you were all going to climb out the windows!!!! Did you enjoy the power blast I did for you? What does the Wortec pipe sound like from outside? Only ever heard it from the inside.

I knew it had to be you. The car just looked awesome from where we were. You were just cruising in the middle lane so Dan (Dan_S V8 - my son) said dad you've got to get us up along side. So after much gear changing and leaning forward in our seats we managed it! Poor old car was struggling tho'.

The exhaust was MASSIVE!! Sounded awesome. I never get to hear my car as I'm always driving it so it was good to hear another one getting a good sound-off.

Yeah sounded fantastic, I've only ever seen one on the road and to see a modded one is even cooler, I saw you coming up the outside I was like put the windows down!! Looked really nice as well, loads of presence!

Shame it was during the day, apparently it spits flames at night, on the over-run!
Looks like we all had fun that day ! Just got a nice C5 in bright red to keep the monaro company in the garage, got to start the mod thing all over - Ha! but its worth it ....

Yeah ours does that as well, when we went to the dyno and the operator finished the first run he lit up the whole of the back of the dyno when he let off, very cool!
