Too many sections could dilute discussion and the banter on here - which i like! After all, with a max of only around 1000 cars, we are a relatively small community. I would suggest 4 sections:

"Monaro forum" - everything about the cars, maybe with some sub sections - engine/brakes/drivetrain
"off topic" - anything and evrything else
"flame room" - got something you want to get off your chest? Or fancy disagreeing with someone?
"meetings" - events/meets
"for sale" - cars/parts

Monaro forum would exlude the 4 doors so that's a non-starter... maybe just Holden/HSV section?

Keep all the cars in the same section i'd say Monaro & saloon they are all based around the same drivetrain.

I'll be adding a for sale section to HSV.org.uk using a similar format to that at www.pistonheads.com/sales/ rather than a forum.

I think it would be a mistake to split the forum up. Perhaps a "for sale" might be nice - other than that I think it would dilute things too much. All that's needed perhaps is for people to have slightly more meaningful titles to new topics so if someone really doesn't want to read technical threads they don't have to. I wouldn't lke to have to faff about with 6 or 7 sub-fora ?? to read everything, and although I'm relatively non-technical I like to read the technical stuff so I can learn something.

I think keep it as it is, it's hardly overflowing with unrelated topics, if you split up car types then there would be tumbleweed blowing through some as it would be that quiet. Holdens are Holdens and virtually all topics are relevant to big V8's so if it aint broke don't fix it, plus its nice being attached to pistonheads

I don't think its broke but still would like to see sub sections, possible.

General Chat
Technical Chat
Multimedia (this would be for photo's, video's, sound files and links to other pages with video clips etc)
Meets

The reason I would like to see this is sometimes I see a topic such as Oil Used or What Tyres, then 3 months later I need to change a set of tyres and end up going though pages of posts to try and find 1 topic, if I could look under Technical Chat it would be much easier.
