Triumph Scrambler.

Love it to bits.
It's not my main one but just something to enjoy for high days & holidays like.

Any other retro or classic owners out there?

Looks great, are you off down some green lanes on it? Or are you keeping it on the black top?

I may do some green lanes but nothing major - the suspension couldn't cope.

It's mainly for poggling about on.

Neighbour turned up on a demonstrator a couple of weeks ago. Love at first sight (and memories of a mis-spent youth flooding back too!)

Thats a really nice motorcycle. Gorgeous.
I'm planning on getting back in the saddle this year, just having a hard time deciding what to get !! Probably a Harley Sportster, but a classic brit would be very nice. Think a fat bloke might look better on the Harley !!!

Not into classics I'm afraid!!When I was racing saloons,:drive:I sold my lovely VFR800 to fund my racing....3 rounds later....I sold my quads and argocat!3 rounds later.....?Not good!:frown:Anyway,I've just bought some new leathers and boots and now I need a bike to go with them.Probably another VFR800.:happy:They're fast enough, long legged (for a stump like me)and comfortable on a run!Got to say though.....thats a tasty machine.......straight out of an episode of Heartbeat!!!lol

I love VFR800s. I had two. Not at the same time of course - had one, sold it, missed it loads and bought another.

Then got kids and suddenly the thought of wiping out wasn't acceptable any more so ditched the bike(s). But every now and then I wander into a bike shop and I'm stunned by the performance you can get for so little money, and I get butterflies again....

Actually the other thing that stops me buying one is the inability to drop the kids off at school on the way to work in a bike. So basically I'd only get to ride it on weekends, and of course that's when I'm not commuting but stuck at home with the family. So it just wouldn't make sense.

Unless of course I bought one just for when the kids are on holiday.... so I could commute to work on it then.... hmmmmmmmmmm

Really liked the look of those scramblers when they came out - unfortunately Mrs Huffy thinks three cars and two motorbikes is enough (and if I was honest and she was reading I would probably agree!)so I shall stick with the 955 Daytona I picked up last year (which is black for those who think black is fastest!!!)
