Anybody got an idea of the paint code for the metallic grey on the side skirts and bumpers of a '99 GTS. Hit a pheasant on the way to work yesterday and have scratched through to the red underneath. Unfortunately the pheasant wasn't insured and didn't respond to questioning!

not sure... I've seen so many variants of the HSV "accent" grey from VT 1 onwards & unless my memory has frozen since moving to the UK (), the factory ones is Oz also look different from some of the same model cars sold here in the UK.

Is yours a VT1 or VT2 GTS, and when u say GTS, is that a UK GTS (HSV Clubby) or did u import an Oz spec GTS (UK GTS-R)

I can email a couple of my HSV contacts in Oz if you want.. they usuall y give me next day answers so I'll post back on Monday if I hear anyhting.

That would be great. It's a VT1 UK GTS (Clubby). I have looked on a few paint sites in Oz with no real progress. Thanks!

In addition to above, the paint code for the rest of the bodywork is F112 (Diablo Red) in case that helps.

Thanks again

There are two codes on your car. The first which is the body colour is on the Holden build plate. The second is the accent colour and is on the HSV build plate. The paint is from the PPG catalogue. With this info your body shop should be able to get or mix the paint. Hope this helps.
