A power slide is due to excessive right foot use.
A good one is not "lost at a T junction" but controlled with just the right amount of throttle to drive at a 45 deg angle up the road for a while before politely correcting to straight ahead all the while under excess wheel spin.
This is obviously done on track days only.. Or if in Melboune at major intersections in the rain.
