First Scottish Monaro Owner's Cruise

Well okay there were only two of us but up here thats a crowd Thought I'd post up a few pics from yesterday's tour. No particular order but all taken around the Loch Lomond/Helensburgh area. The military road with the escape lanes could be fun but I'd want AP's to stop at the roundabout at the bottom of the hill.....
I was sitting behind all the way listening to the wonderful noises coming from the Wortec exhaust on the car in front - well that and he's got 410bhp under the bonnet to my unmodded 04 300-330 horses. Not easy to get close never mind past with that difference
Edit : Actually I know mines faster just because its black but I thought I'd let him lead

hmm 16th - damn thats the day of the Fast&Modified Show at Ingliston in Edinburgh and I'm booked on a stand with the Vectra owners. What's your schedule like over that weekend/day and whereabouts were you planning to head. Maybe be able to work something out if we can get a couple of people together.
I'll be seeing you on the 12th at the Newcastle event - got that booked into the calendar, despite the fact its her indoors birthday Taking her shopping in the Metro Centre and out for some grub as compensation.

I live in Helensburgh, and the roads around about are great fun.
However just a wee note of caution for when you use the haul or 'military' road in the future. The cambers of the corners arn't realy set up for road cars travelling at speeds over the nsl, they are much flatter as they were originally designed to cater for large/heavy slow moving military convoys, which have a tendancy to topple over.
My old man works in the Base, and talks about the call outs they get for people who have just went straight on at corners on this road.
....still great fun though
