Things to do in Rainham........
Discussion
There really is nothing to do for a few hours in Rainham, unfortunately. (I assume you mean Rainham Kent not Rainham Essex?).
There's a small shopping precinct which isn't overly great but worth a wander. There's a sports shop (if you're that way inclined) and there's a couple of nice pubs which do food and will have sports TV on (football, wimbledon etc) which could help while away the time.

Assuming you don't have a car...
Best bet is hop on the train somewhere - London 50min away, Canterbury 30-odd, Rochester 10mins. Alternatively, train to Bromley - good shopping centre there, 30-40mins on train.
I grew up there, and there are some very good reasons I left:-
- I was bored
- The locals
- I was very bored
- Lack of good jobs
- I was extremely bored
- The locals
If you like walking there's a decent wooded park N of the town centre...trying to remember which road it's on...bottom of Station Road I think, might be the next one East.

Do you mean the Chalk pit at the bottom of Berengrave Lane ? Most of the others have been grubbed out and built on I think
Theres also the golf course opposite if you're into it...
