Get it off as soon as possible! Use bug & tar remover or white spirit or isopropyl alcohol on a rag if you have any. Then clay it, wash it, polish and wax it. Hopefully you haven't done too much harm.
Sounds like I should get someone else to do it for me. booster, I think I read you are a guru at these things. I'm on jct 8, M25 (Redhill/Reigate). Unless thats too far away from you in which case can you recommend someone closer? rgds
As Big Nige says - it's probably easier and cheaper to call Lombard Direct...oh sorry I've been watching too much junk TV. I meant it's probably worth having a go yourself first as I've started charging by the hour now Just go easy on a small area first on a lower panel. If you want any advice or help then that's gonna be a bit difficult as from tomorrow I'm in Jamaica for 2 weeks! Good luck. IF you really want me to overhaul the car and getting it looking great then we can discuss that too later.!
Cheers

Watch your back in Jamaica... More people are murdered on that small island than the whole of Afghanistan last year! Especially watch out if you're going to stay in Kingston - not a place you want to be wandering around. North shore Holiday resorts are fine though, all have security.
I worked there for a while and I can honestly say that I felt more threatened in Kingston than I ever did in Baghdad or Kabul.
Hey harry, i'm a bodyshop manager and ex auto paint company tech rep, scoot down to a local bodyshop and go for a full polish, it'll probably set you back anything up to a £100 but its well worth it seen so many cut and polish DIY disasters it now cracks me up.probably take about an hour or 2 depending on if its a good painter doing it . good luck.
