You had better tell that to the Formula 1 guys and the Moto GP guys with their slipper clutches then. You are obviously more adept at control than these profesionals. Not going any further on this subject as everyone to his own???Oh and by the way a F--d Focus has never passed me on a wet or dry track!!!

Tongue and cheek Sir.
Also Im not necessarily after control. Sideways is the fun part for me. As you say horses for courses.

The RaceLogic system by all accounts is damn good and with our average road conditions to get the most from your S/C power to see off more exoctic cars it is a good investment as are good brakes!

Perhaps Tiler could add a comment as he has it and rather more than 530BHP as well. He allegedly also has a good reputation for slaying exotic stuff as well - the TC really helps with its launch control in surprising the 4x4 rally brigade off the line....

I was not convinced about traction control either. Last winter however my unmodded car was very slow on roundabouts and slippery on corners. With the wortec exhaust mods and the upcoming diff I am kind of worried about the winter months (and the car is used daily for my commute). I really dont want to be ripped on roundabouts by front wheel drive 'normal' cars or be vey tentative in corners.

The existing system is not that good. On track I have turned it off as it stopped me getting a good run(on the straight at Brands Hatch) so totally understand the anti tc feeling.

The racelogic system appears to be one with ability to make the car go faster, round track and in slippery conditions, also allowing for going sideways upto 25% or off completly.

Once its done I will update. If anyone has ideas where the LCD control should be pls post, centre console seems a good idea??

All I said was it is more FUN without TC plus it makes you a better driver, easy to drive a car to its limits with TC on, not so easy without TC especially in the wet however I will be slower than those employing TC. Like the dig about the Focus LOL but don't understand the reference to FI & GP as I was never putting myself in their company, I'll leave that to you....
