Hi Everyone

I think the time for a Wortec and remap has come....

So, to those of us "dahn Sarf" who have you used to carry out your mods? Picador Southampton I think, and Greens of Essex are the only 2 I know of.

Any recomendations? What can I expect to pay? I think I saw Mose the other day as he is local to me, and I think that is the sound I am after

Cheers

Piccador (nr Southampton Airport) did the remap, exhaust, air filter and upgraded brake pads on my original CV8.

They also sorted me out with a replacement gearbox and brake disks.

Cannot reccomend them highly enough....excellent service.

Picador in Sholing near Southampton have done all my work, which includes headers, decat, CAI, plugs, full set of AP racing 6pots, Wortec remap, loud wortec Zorst. Speak to Graham Jacobs. Cant speak too highly of them. Friendly, efficient, and they seem very keen on what they do. Or speak to Paul at Wortec - if you can track him down !!!!!!

Looking at going back for more so would recommend. Still not so keen on the corsa courtesy car tho.....

Yep, mines blue, so it could have been my one? would need to look at dates. I got a merivo or something which was quite appalling, but its transport, free, and so unpleasant to drive that one has time to reflect on how good the Mon is !!

I got offered a bright green signwritten Aguila by Piccador which I refused on decency grounds. They said the only alternative was a big transit style vauxhall van.

I reluctantly accepted this, then went home to clear my garden of building rubble, help my sister take her sofa to the tip and collect a bike from Halfrauds. Good work fella.

Mine was there in May getting APs and the larger MAF plus remap, it had already had the Wortec Performance Pac fitted the previous August

Courtesy car aside, fantastic service, thoroughly recommended.

In any case, it probably does us good to spend a few days driving around in a Corsa every now and then just to remind ourselves how lucky we are!

I have always had perfect service from Greens, been in there 3 times now - Twice for mods (catback and then headers) and once for the airbag recall.

As for the Courtesy car, well I had the option of whatever I liked within reason, could even have had a SAAB if I wanted it Chose the Astra VXR in the end.

In fairness though, I haven't heard a bad thing about any of the tuners here. It really depends on your location and which mods you require.

Had my upgrades doene late March so would say early March I was shown the modded Monaro. Was kinda hooked when they started it up and revved it a little bit.

Last car I had was a Corsa with a modded exhaust. Sounded great until you looked at the speedo and realised you were doing 30.......
