Caution: you should budget for mods though, I do not think you will find anybody on this forum with a totally standard car.

Can I be the exception that proves the rule As for the fuel, its really not that bad (although that depends what you are used to I guess). Me and Mrs Huffy also run a 325 BMW and a Mini Cooper - neither are significantly better and in fact on the station run the BMW is appalling but I didn't buy that for the fuel economy either!! Thing is the BM requires Optimax - the CV8 in unmodified form doesnt.

Mr Huffy, every rule requires an exception, but are you really sure you're it? Still using stock tyres? I can't recommend a cat back and appropiate tune enough, it transformed my '04 CV8.

In this case absolutely positive - and yes still running Bridgestones - they were on the car when I bought it second hand and haven't worn out yet (although I am trying!!). Grip is still alot better than my Camaro though. As for the exhaust and remap - kind of blew the budget getting the car although it would be nice to get it to produce a sound like the Camaro
