I hope he owns an insurance company as well as some oil company shares oh and maybe a tyre factory.

Will it be registered as a mini cab for red Ken's sake?

There is one over on ls1tech with a nelson ~2000BHP engine in it. Stevie can probably find it quicker than i can.

had a look round Harry's car yesterday when I popped into Monkfish, Roger gave me the guided tour round it and theres a lot still to do on the structural side never mind anything else. According to Roger they need to seam weld the whole rear end to stop it ripping the spot welds apart as they've already seen 600-700bhp cars start to split with the torque they produce and Harry's is a lot more than those numbers...Very impressed mind you with the way its going together, be some machine when its done.

Yes, still plenty to do and Roger has been a man down for the last week or so...
With any luck I'll get a chance to drop in tomorrow afternoon and check progress. Be nice just to see the engine turn over!

Week 21......weeping

Engine in with plenum

The complete front look (yes, the plenum not only looks high, but is too high)

Replacement half shafts

Roger taking good care of the rest of the exhaust system (silencers to be determined)

Boost controller by HKS (slimline)

The finished boot

Fuel system (in one photo)

Where we are today, bits going back in the bay and lots of heat shielding. Roger promised to start it up this weekclap

We had some serious problems with one some one had locked, and then lost the manual for it. Took an age to get it working, then would'nt do what we wanted.

I've been told they are very good if set up correctly though

I told you that bonnet would never shut! I think you should cut a hole in it for the full Mad Max effect

Awesome thread - awesome car.

Especially like the finished boot - but have to ask - where are all the subwoofers?
