New Poster

Hi there fellow V8 Owners. I've owned my Red Monaro 06 Reg CV8 for a year now and I have now just got round to joining the Forum, though I've been a avid follower of the tips posted, so thanks to everyone. I have to say that my Ro is the best car I've ever owned and though still standard, brings a grin to my face every time I get behind the wheel. I'm in Central Scotland, so if you see me coming the other way, give me a wave.

you're not the guy I met in Anstruther by any chance last year that was going to sign up? I was there in my black 04 plate. Anyway welcome to the forum, great to have another Scottish member on here. That means we've got 1 in Ayrshire, 1 on Orkney, R1Mark iirc is Aberdeenshire, 1 in Glasgow, 1 in Perth, me in Motherwell and you somewhere in the middle. I know of a few others that just aren't interested in anything to do with the cars other than filling them with petrol - something in Orkney - V6 JDT has seen it, silver vxr in Glasgow, yellow cv8 in Dunfermline. Also heard of 2 VXR8 owners - both blue, one in Edinburgh where guy sold his red VXR and the owner of a dealership up here who had a black cv8, silver vxr and now a VXR8. We've almost enough cars up here to have a decent sized meet some day Time to revive the idea of a hoon round Scotland this summer!!!
