That means my car has just gone up in value

Seriously, glad you're ok, shame about the car. I hope the insurance gives you what you want; don't take their first offer.

Holy fook.... No polish in the world is gonna get that out...

Glad you are all OK.... and just had a look at the other photos... is that mud on the back seat or is that where you passenger cr4pped himself... I know I would have done.

These cars are extremely tough and you have proven it with a crash like that.

On the plus side, makes my a little more exclusive

Glad your all okay. As others have said, gave me the shivers just reading what happened. can't imagine what it would be like.

Shows where all that weight goes to protect you. I'd have thought a lorry running OVER the Ro would have squashed it pretty much.
In a way glad to know i'm in a relatively "safe" cage. (even if prone to a little wheel slippage...)

PS you keeping that gearbox?

Jeez ... you were very lucky ... I was thinking I wouldn't be smiling after an accident like that, but maybe I would as you all got out alive .... very lucky ... got any lottery numbers you recommend?

Unbelievable! Wow - glad you're all okay - facebook pictures at least make you all look light-hearted about what might have been a very nasty (well, it was!) accident.

Car did you proud and, well, proof the LS1 is bomb-resistant! smile

Yeah tyres where all legal, they where getting to the point to be replaced but where definalty within the limits.
Police didn't seem like they where on a witch hunt or anything, same evening there had been a couple of other accidents from the same thing. In the hospital there was a couple brought in with head injuries after aqua planeing just like we had.
Hospital couldn't believe what they seen when they checked us out after been shown the pictures we took.

Ended up not getting the LSD done over the weekend, tho Im sure I left some nice black lines from all 4 wheels as we got pushed along. smile

From what others have said it does seem that these heavy cars don't seem to like standing water too much. None of us from in the car doubt the car was the main reason we walked (well crawled) out though. Car did us proud.

Not sure whats happening to the bits from the car yet Bonnie, when I find out whats happening you can have dibs on the wheel laugh

Hmm, I'd be surprised if that's not a Cat A write-off, but the vultures might get away with a B.

Glad to hear you're all fine, that's a scary-looking set of remains.

Thanx. Again really glad your all ok. I'm so happy to be driving a Monaro.
Just looked at your profile pic. I know its about being alive and safe but it did bring a tear to my eye seeing such a beautiful example going to the big V8 scrapyard in the sky. However it is only a car and it can be replaced. You guys could'nt have
