I just did my vxr8 with the jewelultra diamondbrite stuff 2 stage process, also supposed to protect it pretty well.
Comes out pretty nice. Got it off ebay for £20 and have done 2 Holdens with it now.. still some left.
I took a pic but my camera sucks.

I thought I should have it nice at least once, while the panels are still straight.

"Diamondbrite is made from refined rock oils that are formulated into a two stage process so that each product compliments the next and builds up to create a tough durable glaze. If the entire process is carried out by an approved Diamondbrite applicator, the resulting protective finish is guaranteed for six years from the date the product is applied.

The hard, high gloss protective skin that Diamondbrite creates, prevents road salts, traffic film, acid rain, fallout from factories, tree sap, insect fluid and other atmospheric pollutants from contacting directly with your cars paintwork. Fading from ultraviolet light is virtually eliminated as is nitrate etching caused by bird droppings (as long as it is washed off within 7 Days and retreated with Diamondbrite Conserver). "

Im sure half of it is rubbish, but it seems ok to me.

I had a Vectra treated with this stuff in 2001. My brother has the car now and it still has an excellent finish. It has been polished periodically with the 'conserver' which is pricey but seems to do a pretty good job. Other polish will not take to the surface.
