Wide Angle Drivers Mirrors

I managed to get a screwdriver into the release hole and loosen the top left corner. But something is holding back the opposite corner of the mirror. Heaved and wiggled (the mirror too) but no release. So I've left it for now as I was concerned about breaking something.

I would advise to put some tape to protect the plastic surround from the screwdriver.

I've got some photos as I thought they might help others. As it seems I'm the one who needs help I'll not post yet.

Finally fitted this evening, what a mission, the whole innards came out and the original mirror was damn awkward to get out. I had to use small screw drivers to lever the halves apart; so much for a simple job. All fitted back now, will see if it makes a difference etomorrow :-)

You're in luck. I bought mine as a spare (as I already have one fitted from the last batch) to help make up numbers and to help keep the cost down for the rest of the forum. I still have my stock mirror as a backup if I need it (shudder)

As you don't have one, your need is greater than mine. It's yours if you want it. Same price obviously.

As your local would you want to collect to save postage? If you wait until I've got the stickers you can have them at the same time. I will refund the postage you paid on those.

No worries. We'll sort it out once I have the stickers. I'll be in touch. Might even be able to sort it out with the tinting

Hi Nick, picked up Mirror saturday morning and fitted it today, piece of cake, was easier than I thought and I didn't break anything !!! Just need to go for a drive with it on now, see how much better it is. many thanks
