If the bacon sarnie chef is still the same, I might just have to call in to say hi.
...If I'm still invited that is, now that I'm not officially in the 'owners club'
Sometimes mate, when you have to sell impractical things it just has to be done....If I'm still invited that is, now that I'm not officially in the 'owners club'
We all know there is a emenently practical (and superior in all ways) vxr8 out there with your name on it!

Well I only saw one street tyred Monaro beat me at the track and that was by less than a tenth of a second. Plus it blew up not long after!
It seems you need a second mortgage to beat a vxr8 around here and multiple approaches to power
And I agree the extra 200kg doesnt help. Makes you wonder if that 10th of a second really made up for the 200kg weight difference...
Should be an interesting dyno day.

Ah, but its not all about the displacement.
I only had 20% extra displacement.
Roger had 80% extra air density over standard.
Where did the extra 60% air mass go? It went into supercharger waste world!
Im guessing your beasite will reduce that 60% waste substantially. But Im sure we can do some calculations with your displacement and boost and compare the relative efficiencies of each engine in making BHP. Ill let you generate more Gross horsepower however I suspect you will burn substantially more lb of fuel per rwhp
I suspect you wont want to compare rwhp per £ spent either

Yeah, its not not as efficient as NA though
I expect nothing less than a total thrashing given the setup.
I need go no further. Mine is already faster than a Dodge Viper and an Audi R8.
However Ill still identify inefficiencies where they exist, you can rely on me for that
Jez has simply moved the load off the crank and used it to block off the exhaust flow. Sure its more efficient than a PD blower, but then so is Gordon Brown.

That's one way to look at it. Another is to say you'd need a 9 litre NA engine to produce the same power as a 6.3 litre with FI.
Lots of manufacturers including BMW are moving away from NA in favour of more fuel efficient turbo engines with lower emissions. Take the new M5 for example.
