Ive been looking into this as well but all the prices I have seen have been the same, also Ive yet to find someone to supply a purpose made subframe to mount them on and I dont like the idea of a DIY seat frame in a 20k car!

Thats the most sensible solution if no aftermarket ones exist. Could be worth asking on one of the AUS forums see if anyone has done it? That monaro VXR painted in Arden blue that the pictures appeared on here before had aftermarket seats in if anyone knows the guy?? What sort of weight saving are you expecting? Only reason I would change the seats would be for weight as the standard ones are fantastic

Yeah I thought you would be getting it to match carbon wise Personally I would go with the cheaper version with a nicer material on the seats at somewhere between the cost as I dont have any carbon the car, but can see the benefits of matching it, although you wont see it sat in the front!
