If anybody wants a spare/replacement plug and PCB mount for their heater amp, I have ordered some today. The company has a minimum order of £20 so I will have 8 spare plugs and 7 of the PCB pin mount blocks.

They will work out about £1.10 each + postage. First come first served. Stick your name below and I will sort you out next week when I get back from Barcelona

Bagsy first. Thanks.

No harm in stocking up on bits that may fail smile

Good evening all, with the taste of Paella and beer and visions of naked ladies on a Spanish Sunkist beach fading fast, I thought I would distract myself and bottom out this thread on connectors for the heater Amps.

The parts are now in (but not the crimp terminals frustratingly, so there will be a slight delay in sending out). I will be in touch with all those that expressed their interest with the total cost and payment details. £5 will cover all the parts needed to replace both connectors & pins, postage will be £1.50 ish for 2nd class.

For future reference here are the details that are needed to order more parts:

Company is www.Farnell.com

All the components are made by Souriau, put the part number (in parenthesis) quoted in to the search function on the Farnell website to take you to the bits you need. They have a minimum order of £20 for processing by credit card, postage is reasonable about £4.

Part # for the PCB mount 6 pin PCB mounted connector is (240151) £1.82 EACH
Part # for the corresponding 6 pin Connector plug is (3652130) £7.80 for min order 10 units
Terminals for the larger wires @ 0.8-1.5mm (x2) is (3652002) £6.60 for min order 25 units
Terminals for the smaller wires @0.35-0.5mm (x2) is (3652014) £6.90 for min order 25 units

Update: All those that asked have been emailed this evening with payment details and costs etc. I have ended up with another 10 connectors and 2 more of the PCB mount plugs & pins so if anybody else wants parts let me know.

Hi Andy,

On your post above you have the same part no. for both parts

Part # for the PCB mount 6 pin PCB mounted connector is (3652130) £1.82 EACH
Part # for the corresponding 6 pin Connector plug is (3652130) £7.80 for min order 10 units

Do you have the part number for the 6 pin connector? Can't find it on Farnells site, called them and they couldn't find it either so had to send a pic to the tech support, thought it maybe quicker to ask you if you had the no. to hand.

Cheers.

Doh! as Paul quoted 240151 is the correct part number (pic is wrong on their website though) I have one pair with pins that is yet to be claimed. It was for Darkmark07 but either he is away or its got stuck in the spam filter along with requests for info on the bank accounts I don't have or penis growth pills!

I have now corrected the posting for future use!

I also have 8 more of the connectors (not the PCB mount) without pins £3 each posted if anybody wants one. If somebody is buying more and wants to just buy the PCB mounts & pins, they can have the connectors at the price they cost me + the postage to make up full sets for others.
