£52k though?
I know it's a Bargain I much prefer it to the one they sold for £52k, the shame about cars like this though is they won't be used on the road but kept as investments, speaking to the guys at TrackVRoad a lot of buyers of Sags now are more interested in storing them as investments rather than driving them which will only push prices higher and out of the reach of real TVR fans.

I plan to average 5k miles/year in my Sag.. hopefully wont affect the value toooo much, but I bought it for pleasure not to sit in a glass house.
Totally agree, to the extent that I don't plan mileage save as for insurance purposes. I bought it for me, not the next owner. And there may not even be a next owner. So far my mileage has averaged at around same (22,000 miles in around 4 years) although it has been laid up twice with engine rebuilds which have probably taken 6 months off that 4 years. JonRB - O/T but... whats the latest engine build you had ?? RG/FFF wasn't it ? Feedback so far.... ?
Yes, Racing Green FFF2 + simplex chain + Syvecs ECU. Still bedding in at the moment so too early for feedback right now. I should put some more miles on it but the weather hasn't been good of late. RedSpike66 said:
On another matter, can;t beleive you let that Corrado go - awesome motor - had a 16v and a VR6 myself - loved em !
Well, 14 years is a long time to own a car and when it started to get piston slap from bore ovaling at around 149k miles and needed a complete engine rebuild it just wasn't economically viable. I sold it to a mechanic who intended to rebuild it himself in his own time. Edited by JonRB on Wednesday 25th January 22:57

Is this the sag that had the red interior, that was brought from Tvr Hexham about a year ago. .
IIRC Sean got it from Christopher NeillsLensey said:
This looks really good, wasn't a fan of the car when Sean originally got it but a respray and interior change does it the world of good! £52k though?
Cheers, I think my car is virtually identical to Seans originally, better get off to the paint shop and trimmers alex_gray255 said:
Err... Well, I was told by a dealer that they expected them to hit 60k end of year. They have more than enough people after them
I think we'll see them go that high, agreed, but I dont think the whole market will shift up by £10k - £15k. I think it'll only be the c. 10 - 15 really good examples, low mileage and mint, which will go up and up for people who want to keep them as investments...JxT said:

I agree. I can't see mine going up that high despite the Racing Green engine, mainly due to the fact that it is not kept in concourse condition (very far from it in fact) and is considered high mileage at 40,000 miles.I can see pristine, perfect, concourse examples with stupidly low mileage going for silly money though.

Still, better to enjoy them than becoming obsessed about keeping the mileage low to make a few grand!I can see pristine, perfect, concourse examples with stupidly low mileage going for silly money though.
