Glad its gone always a good sign when they going fast. Contemplated going and getting it myself lol.http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3566430.htm
Talking about insurace I think I have no choice but to change mine. Being with MSM since I had the car but now think its gone up above there max value so will have to have a good look around. Will try mannings as have being recomended them but got to work out what its worth first.

if it had been in UK I would have gone and had a look myself, I'm with mannings and any Sag with a £50k+ value has to have a tracker and a mileage limit of either 2k 3k or 5k
I'm with Manning's too but I have no idea what value we agreed. I think it may be "market value" in fact. I should check. JonRB said:

also to apply an agreed value you require a written valuation (TVR Specialist) and some photographs of the car consisting of the front, rear, each side, interior and the engine bay.
Yes, I used to have an Agreed Value policy with Adrian Flux for my heavily modified Corrado in order to get it insured for the vlaue of car + modifications, new for old, so I know all about that palaver. It just never occurred to me to do that for the Sagaris for some reason. But I may well look into that now. RedSpike66 said:
Agreed - as soon as my renewal is due, I will have to go for limited mileage, tracker and agreed value. If the worst happened, I'd want up towards £60k from the insurance, so will have to put up with the limited mileage side of things.
Do they still insure you for track days with agreed value ??

you only need a tracker if your SAG is valued with Mannings at over £50k
That's a bit of a sweeping statement that's not strictly true, it might be true for Mannings but when I was with a previous insurer they insisted on a Tracker and my Griff is obviously worth much less than £50k.anyway did LT say why he butchered the beautiful muscular widebody purple Chamberlin/Synergy T400 and turned them into them chinless anorexic narrow body T400?

Jump now or forget about it, IMHO.
You might be right, but I just can't justify it at the moment! If anyone gets suddenly desperate, or I can find one with a near expired engine, then I might stand a chance. If not, then I'll have to continue to dream!
he prefers bright loud coloured Sags ie lambo green/orange

Great. Running out of sellers should make the values go even higher.
Don't go saying that!I look at the ads daily, but if I'm honest, Sagaris ownership is getting further away for me rather than nearer!
he also said he expected Sags to be £100k plus in a few years,

Tell him to get a deal done with Jason on the spectraflair one. High mileage yes, but we know who the owner was and it needed for nothing. All the 12's by Jason and his crew and if the advert is realistic... the rest of the car sounds in great condition too. Great colour for a Sag, elegant interior scheme, what more could you ask for???.... oh yeah.... £38,000 !!!!! No brainer. Still leaves you with £10,000 to fettle it to your liking. If I didn't have one already and was on a tightish budget, that would be the one. Someone's getting a bargain, that's for sure.
certainly sounds better than these trashed ones one hears about
