Beautiful looking car, love Nightfire red. Don't mind the quilting but the roof is overkill.

Lensey said: £52k though? I know it's a Bargain I much prefer it to the one they sold for £52k, the shame about cars like this though is they won't be used on the road but kept as investments, speaking to the guys at TrackVRoad a lot of buyers of Sags now are more interested in storing them as investments rather than driving them which will only push prices higher and out of the reach of real TVR fans.

I think Sean had a Noble at the same time too, plus other cars - can't drive em all at once !! I plan to average 5k miles/year in my Sag.. hopefully wont affect the value toooo much, but I bought it for pleasure not to sit in a glass house.

Totally agree, to the extent that I don't plan mileage save as for insurance purposes. I bought it for me, not the next owner. And there may not even be a next owner. So far my mileage has averaged at around same (22,000 miles in around 4 years) although it has been laid up twice with engine rebuilds which have probably taken 6 months off that 4 years.

Still bedding in at the moment so too early for feedback right now. I should put some more miles on it but the weather hasn't been good of late. Well, 14 years is a long time to own a car and when it started to get piston slap from bore ovaling at around 149k miles and needed a complete engine rebuild it just wasn't economically viable. I sold it to a mechanic who intended to rebuild it himself in his own time.

I love the quilting. If I ever need to get a re trim it will be in there somewhere. Just where will the prices stop if people are still getting them to invest, they must think there is some more to go.

Err... Well, I was told by a dealer that they expected them to hit 60k end of year. They have more than enough people after them

Cheers, I think my car is virtually identical to Seans originally, better get off to the paint shop and trimmers

I think it'll only be the c. 10 - 15 really good examples, low mileage and mint, which will go up and up for people who want to keep them as investments...

I can't see mine going up that high despite the Racing Green engine, mainly due to the fact that it is not kept in concourse condition (very far from it in fact) and is considered high mileage at 40,000 miles. I can see pristine, perfect, concourse examples with stupidly low mileage going for silly money though.
