Does anyone know where the drain tube behind the Anderson Connector goes to? It has issued one or two drips, 2 days after I last drove the car

It passes through into the inner wing, and I'm guessing it goes either to the heater matrix area or the AC heat exchanger (cabin end)

Thanks

No replies frown Have you guys any idea how many times I had to try and take that photo - lying on the cold garage floor with no idea where the camera was really pointing...

I see you got the cap of the Anderson Connector fitted on it.
I heard stories about water in it which could made a short-cut .
So I removed mine and protected the electrical connections with grease.

Or you could just poke a hole in the cap, which lets water drain out.

Ah - good spot, thanx. There is a dollop of grease in there as well but I will sort something else out too.

Gents,

I have borrowed one of Graham Varley's battery box pictures here to explain what I am referring to (Thk Graham).
Despite my best efforts to avoid this situation, the hard and brittle PVC drain pipe coming down through the top of the battery box has fallen off (shown perfectly in Grahams photo).
What is this drain connected to? I plan to refit with new more pliable PVC hose, is this easy to refit from the battery box, or are we talking accessing the area from above via the engine bay (ie removing heater matrix covers etc).

Thanks in advance!
