what tires do you have on those 8.5 and 9.5J in this set up can it also handle 255 series?
when you do a engine update say 4.3/4.5 or even LS3/7 then you could need some extra rubber.

Stick with the std tyre sizes, regardless of 8.5 or 9.5.
You could go with a 265 on the back instead of std 255, but I think you would prob have issues with the tyres sticking out from the arches too much.

I stayed with the 255s on the front but put 265s on the rear and have not had any problems although from past posts some people have had problems when increasing tyre sizes. Seem to remember that when TVR Power were doing the 19" Jade R wheels they were using 275s on the rear.

Good looking wheels.
but IMHO nothing beats the spiders for looks. Why don't we do a group buy to have spiders made but in a stronger/light weight version? Odd that none of the dealers/specialists considered this. Or is there a copy right of some sort?

I don't get the whole spiders are soft and buckle and all that nonsense, I have probably driven 40,000 miles on spiders ( including track days ) and never had a problem with them! Spiders are very hard to beat looks wise on the later cars imo.

Ah, I see now that the standard was 255 all round...I thought I read somewhere 235. then indeed 255 will go :-) that original pretty wide up front, did not expect that. then I guess indeed that a 275 on the rear is possible, depends also a bit which brand of tire...some are much wider then others, I had Dunlop and Falken and Michelin, but now Contisport 5P and those are in the same size, say the front 235, about 1 cm wider then those from the other brands in 235, didn't expect that, and when there's not much room not counts... edit: it was a T350c story I was confused with, those came with 225 front and 235 rear...I thought the Sagaris uses the same...maybe that explains also a bit in the better Sagaris lap times could a T350c handle the same tire set-up as the Sagaris? or... sorry for the thread drift ;-)

All that nonsense is 3 repairs in 2 years for me for buckled wheels, talking to John the owner of the Tamaris he needs 2 repairing, also they are heavy for what they are. You and many others prefer the spiders thats great, some of us prefer an alternative, surely it is each to their own. Still find it surprising that a company which offered so many options on paint, interior etc only evere had the one wheel design for the T cars.

I love the spider, these rota's look good but i've still not seen anything that i prefer to the spider. (had sp12's on my t350 but gone off them) On the nobles we got speedline to agree to make a batch for a group buy of their corsa wheels, much lighter and stronger than the standard wheels (same story as tvr then) so surely if 10/12 owners agreed on a nice wheel a company would make them. Not sure who would manufacture them Gerjo, but I suspect for what they would cost, having some nice lightweight 3 peice split rims would be preferable. You seem to get what you pay for. We changed the wheels on Linda's Tamora last year, because they were slightly out of round - very very slight, but enough to annoy. Brand new 4 wheels were less than what I would have expected to pay for one good forged light wheel. We now have 4 very servicable wheels (if you're not a fussy sort) in excellent cosmetic order that would make good track day wheels for someone.

Don't have any problems with the spiders myself, even including several trackdays etc. And indeed, they are relatively cheap. mailed you off-line on another matter
