hi chris

i cant help you with what to do but having had kids and watching them grow they take most of your time up
more so on the weekends "tiv time" , my son is 21 now and still plays football every saturday so do i go out in the chim and miss
his football match NO ! somethings are just more important than cars
and a young family are even more demanding on your time "its not easy"

all the best mr chris

Exdcellent OP - I totally sympathise with your position. I've never ran my own business but had to work shifts for a few years when my son was young, and it's tough missing some of the 'events' that they're involved in etc. but that's life. Someone has to pay the bills.

Regarding the Sag - don't sell. Definitely don't sell. If you only do 1000 miles/year in it over the next few years so what ?? The mileage haters will be proud of you ! I'm doing over 10k/year in mine! You shouldn't have to spend too much on it, but I find they do like to be used rather than not.

In terms of getting your fun, I'm fed up of Gatso's too, but have to say this car was born to be on track. Just do it. I've done half a dozen now, no special mods, just servicing and trying to choose the right tyres & brake pads. All the way to Spa, full-on track day, and all the way back and not a rattle a squeak or an ounce of lost fluids !! The Sag comes alive on track - just do two or three of those mid-week during next year.

All the very best with your final decision - whatever it is.
