100% yes, took me months to work out what it was. The Aerial is about a meter long (it's one of those extendable metal things) reach under the ps wheel arch, find the pop rivet head and wiggle it you can make the tappy sound - it's the tip of the aerial inside the wing!
You flaming star man !!!Just ripped out the some what corroded aerial and the rattle is no more !!!
Have pulled the aerial coax back into the cabin and will look for a better aerial and position.....
I also did not buy my TVR Chimaera to listen to the radio, but missing out on the quality of DAB+ and having a useless radio in the dash was very frustrating.
The solution was simple in the end, don't try to butcher your windscreen pillars to hide wiring or find a earth for the sticky windscreen aerials, you can use the T Bar aerial that gets it's earth off the Head Unit.

Dan at Halfords, Blackburn supplied and fitted this for £30 in addition to very competitively priced units for less than £100, I went for the Pure 260 with blue tooth handsfree at £129, which gets better reception reports compared to the Sony/Pioneer units at a similar price.
What a transformation for £159 fitted
