Do we ever stop - when is enough enough?

After 11 years my paint work is a little weathered and my leather worn with spiders that need a referb but she has Power 4.3 and Nitrons and goes like the wind so I like to drive! Upgrades are not needed and a less than perfect car wants to be pushed hard. She's not a princess or a beauty queen but I love her.
TBH, If I had gone for the 4.3 and Nitron upgrade first, I know that all else would take second stage and could wait, as driving the car is what counts. I am sure I would have the same sentiments as you. However, I have to wait at least another 8 months before considering the 4.3 upgrade, and in the meantime, I am working on sorting everything else I can on the car, so that the 4.3 will be the icing on the cake. I also know that if I drove yours, I would want the 4.3 now...

I think that upgrading the car is a more exciting experience than actually buying it in the first place. Part of that is the fact that, not only are you making it better than standard, but you're making it you're own, and it becomes very personal to you. IMOHO anyway...
Yup, but it is easy to get a bit carried away... Oh, and I just ended up buying this...

Well I got a tuscan which had much love and money spent on it being upgraded, only thing I felt needed was the cam cover to be resprayed red and spark cover black.
Once the cam cover was off I felt I might aswell send the fuel rail off at the same time to get sprayed black too.
In doing so I had to remove the airbox which I found had a crack at the back around the throttle body for number 6. So a carbon airbox is now on order.
Whilst waiting for the airbox I felt of doing the airbox and cam cover then surely I should get red coolant pipes to match. (that makes sense right?)
Now I'm just waiting for the airbox and pipes to turn up but I'm sure as soon as there fitted the carbon footplate is "obviously" the next step. Just curious of this want/need will ever end?
Ps anyone have a link for the carbon propshaft?
