Hi,

Chris Brown in Downham Market is pretty good smile Next to Mat Smiths Garage. He's done some work on my car and I've been happy with the results.

Hi Mark - a little further afield but I can thoroughly recommend Hiltons in Bishops Stortford, not the cheapest but they do a fantastic job. They can also still source the original oil based paints for TVRs smile

Hi Mark,

It's aimed at me. Essentially someone I've never met in my life has for some reason decided to start trawling all my old threads looking for references on a subject he knows nothing about.
As you know when we last met my car was at a certain garage having an accident repair done. They did a brilliant GRP repair, hence my recommendation to you. However, 3 months later when I finally get my car back I'm left with a god awful paint job - more than happy to show you if you're ever about this way.
Now for some reason this chap seems to have taken it upon himself to take me to task over this, essentially saying I should suffer peeling paint, chipping paint, dirt in paint etc but giving me no reason as to why I should accept this. This is despite the fact I have my own independent inspection report stating the paint job is nowhere near an industry acceptable standard, let alone factory fresh along with also my own insurance inspector also agreeing with me. Again this chap has never seen these, nor asked, nor seen pictures of my car issues yet still decides to take me to task.
Shame he hasn't the decency to tell me privately what his issue actually is - I hate keyboard warriors.

Eric Poole and sons in Ipswich. I believe Kerridges use them for their paint and fibreglass work. Very highly regarded by all accounts but I haven't used them personally.
